Hello folks, some important information for you all.
AVSC is in a relatively good position right now. Inventory levels for the staples are quite healthy, especially for the Amazon storefront. However, due to the nature of our recipes, each batch of any given product requires quite a beefy capital commitment in order to keep our costs low (to maintain our current prices).
First off, in the event that a certain SKU sells out, make sure you check all storefronts, especially Amazon before assuming it is completely sold out. Secondly, there is potential for an inventory squeeze late spring and early summer. Capital needs to be built up before restocking inventory, because of our batch size requirements, hope that makes sense.
We will do our best to avoid an inventory squeeze along the way as we can, it is more of a matter of timing than anything else right now due to low capital reserves as everything was spent on the current inventory. We are apologizing way in advance, just because this has happened before and is something small businesses struggle with very often, sometimes called growing pains.
Also just a side note: we have watched carefully the data and sales of the body wash, and have all but concluded to discontinue it eventually. We still are sitting on a very big inventory of it, with leftover raw materials for one more inventory boost, but after that it will be marked for liquidation. It will likely be replaced with bar soap singles, far down the line. All body wash inventory has been removed from Amazon and split between Etsy and the site.
