The Syndicate Update

The Syndicate Update is our most ambitious and major update to AVSC so far.

New Theme: AVSC has always been extremely, arguably to a fault, minimalistic when it came to it's artistry and theming. Customers, family, and friends since day one have asked us to lean into a full blown theme, so we finally decided to do it officially. For weeks we put our head down and gave it our all to deliver on an unique, recognizable, and pretty looking theme. We kept the refined logo introduced late 2023/early 2024, and recolored it to match the new noir-inspired aesthetic, internally called The Syndicate.

Future Discounts: The Syndicate Update largely marks the end of sale periods. At the very least, sales going forward will be extremely rare. If you want to save money at AVSC going forward, we highly suggest leveraging every aspect of the reward program, which can be found in the lower right corner for now. The reward program essentially gives you 10% (minimum) cashback via a point system. Choose to save up, or get a small discount every order, just be sure to actually redeem your points via the reward button. You should be given a one-off discount code unique to you each time. This reward system should improve down the road when we can afford to upgrade it and add features.

TFSS Revamp: The Final Shaving Soap has been our pride, joy, and signature product since it came out. The recipe itself has and will remain the same, but there are some updates. New top of the line rust resistant tins with premium, fancy new labels bring TFSS's packaging in line with the good stuff inside. TFSS batch size has also been shrunk even more to further improve quality control. TLDR: Way more attention to detail and labor has been added to TFSS to prioritize and maximize quality going forward. It will take time and capital for The Syndicate aesthetic to trickle down to bar soap and AVSC oil packaging.

New Focus: We will focus on profitability heading into 2025. Since the birth of AVSC in November 2021, we have suffered with everyone else in the worst US economy in the last 50 years. We will try our best to keep prices low, but at the time of writing this, inflation for raw materials and packaging is still at 40% or higher. When inflation goes down and we can afford to lower prices, we will do so. For now though, prices will be adjusted along the way to protect AVSC from bankruptcy. Thank you for understanding.
